To comply with government requirements and ensure that we are operating in a COVID-19 secure way, we have had to make some changes to the normal services we offer our guests.

Registration and Check in:

Check in will be strictly between 16:00 and 18:30, except for under exceptional circumstances. More rigorous cleaning and sanitization procedures between stays means that we can no longer offer early check in.

Hand sanitisers have been made available to you in the entrance porch, hallway, and breakfast room. It is essential that guests wear face masks in all public areas and adhere to the current social distancing rules.

If a prepayment has not already been made, payment will be collected on arrival by debit card. The card machine will be sanitised both immediately before and after use.

Sanitised room keys will be left on the reception table and guests will make their own way to their rooms. Assistance can be provided with bags to your room if required and the same when leaving, but we would ask that this facility is used only if necessary.

All guests will be required to scan the QR code to the NHS Covid-19 App on check-in and complete a Registration Card, which we will hold for track and trace purposes.


To minimize contact, rooms will not be serviced during your stay unless that stay is of more than three nights, after which time a full room service will be performed. Enough consumables i.e., tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, water etc. will be placed in each room to last for the duration of the stay (up to three days). Any additional consumables can be requested at breakfast time.

Any rubbish to be removed can be left outside your room, in the bin bags supplied, for us to dispose of.

Fresh towels will be provided upon request. Used towels should be left neatly folded outside the bedroom door.


Breakfast will be served between 8:30 – 9:30 each morning.

We will still be providing a full, freshly cooked, English breakfast, but there will be some changes in the breakfast room to keep us all safe. Guests are asked to complete a breakfast order sheet the night before (see welcome pack) and there will be no communal bowls, bottles or jugs on the buffet bar.

Guests will be assigned a table on the first morning and will use the same allocated table for the duration of their stay.
